Join us for the 3rd Annual Broadway Decorating Contest and let’s light up Broadway! Deck the halls of your home with your favorite Christmas lights and décor! Thank you to our sponsor Pilgrim’s.
All homes within the Town of Broadway limits are eligible. This is a home decorating contest only. Judging will take place on Sunday, December 18th, starting at 6:00 p.m. Participants’ lights and displays will need to be on from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on December 18th. To enter, please complete the entry form here, an entry form at Town Hall, or call the Town of Broadway at 540-896-5152. Registration deadline is Thursday, December 15th, at 5:00 p.m.
Entries will be judged based on curbside appeal only. Judges will not enter the property. Decorations are evaluated on creativity, appearance, and effort. Judges are new every year and are from outside the northern Rockingham County area. Winners will be announced on Monday, December 19th. Prizes include gift certificates to Broadway businesses.
New this year — winners will be selected in the following categories:
Creative Cheer – Let your creativity shine with a fun theme or interactive display. This award recognizes the most creative and imaginative homes in Broadway. Classic Christmas – Who doesn’t love the classics? This award recognizes the nostalgic Christmas decorations that we all know and love. Incredible Inflatables – Inflatables are a great way to share your favorite Christmas stories and characters. This award recognizes the best inflatable display in town!
