Broadway Hometown Partnership Saves Broadway’s Fireworks Display

We are thrilled to announce that Broadway Hometown Partnership (BHP) is doing what it can to save the Town of Broadway’s fireworks display! Today, our Board Members proudly presented a $12,000 check to Mayor Dave Jordan, ensuring that this beloved tradition will continue in 2025.

A Community-Driven Solution

The fireworks have always been a special part of Broadway’s summer, and when we learned they were at risk of being canceled, we wanted to try help. Even though Broadway’s fireworks are held a little bit before Fourth of July, local residents of Broadway and surrounding towns and Rockingham County get an additional day to celebrate our nation’s independence and bring our community together.

The town made the necessary and responsible decision to reallocate its fireworks budget to essential services, and we fully support that. At the same time, we know how much this tradition means to our community. That’s why our Board of Directors voted to fully fund the display, ensuring Broadway will still have a night of fireworks to enjoy.

When we presented the check today, Mayor Dave Jordan thanked us for stepping up for the town, saying, “It makes my heart happy to see that we care enough to do it.”

Who We Are & Why We Do This

Broadway Hometown Partnership was originally founded by the Town but is now an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, meaning we do not receive taxpayer funding—everything we do is made possible through volunteer work,  fundraising events, business sponsorships, and private donations.

Our mission is to beautify, develop, and celebrate Broadway by doing what we can in creating a thriving community where people love to live, work, and visit. Whether it’s supporting local businesses, organizing town-wide events, or investing in beautification projects, we are always looking for ways to make a difference.

How You Can Support

We are able to do this for our community because of the generosity and dedication of people who have supported BHP and our events. If you want to see Broadway continue to grow and thrive, here are a few ways you can help:

  • Attend Our Events – Red, White & Brew, Oktoberfest, and other fundraising events directly fund projects like this.
  • Make a Donation – Every contribution makes a difference! Donations can be made through making a donation here.
  • Become a Sponsor – Businesses can support our programs while gaining visibility in the community.
  • Volunteer & Champion a Project – If you want to see more good work happening in Broadway, get involved! We welcome volunteers who want to help with events, community projects, or bring new ideas to life.

We are proud to make this contribution and keep Broadway’s fireworks display alive, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you this summer! See you under the fireworks!
